Summer Training, 2023!
Girls Learn To Row!
These sessions will introduce girls to the sport of Rowing.
Girls will be rowing on the water learning proper rowing technique, terminology and boat handling and do some light exercises on land.
Eligible Rowers: 6–12th Grade Girls. No Experience Necessary. Everyone is new!
Dates: Session 1: Monday, June 19 through Friday, June 23
Session 2: Monday, August 7 through Friday, August 11
Schedule: Monday through Friday: 5 to 7 PM each day
Location: Hollywood Rowing Club 801 Johnson St Hollywood 33019. In Holland Park.
Directions: Johnson St is off US 1, between Sheridan St and Hollywood Blvd. After you turn east onto Johnson, go 1.4 miles until the end, then go left into the park. Once through the gate, go right and then take your first left into the parking lot. You will see our boathouse in the left corner.
What to Wear: Athletic shorts, t-shirt, running sneakers and a hat
What to Bring: A water bottle
Cost: $150 for your 1st Session. $125 for your 2nd Session. $25 discount for each sibling.

Weather Policy: We meet rain or shine! If we cannot get on the water because of weather, we will do a workout in our boathouse.
If you are a St. Thomas Aquinas Student, you are welcome to join our Competitive Team which begins in September.
We may also offer a Middle School Program for 7th & 8th Grade Girls from any school depending on interest.

For rowers with at least 1 year of experience – Mornings: 8:30-10:30
M & Th: Rowing on the Water – Holland Park, Hollywood
T: Erging – Fort Lauderdale*
W: Running & Circuits – Holiday Park, Fort Lauderdale*
F: Beach Work Outs – Fort Lauderdale Beach*
M-F – $300 M,W,Th – $200
For experienced and brand new rowers – Evenings: 5-7
M,W,F: Rowing on the Water – Holland Park, Hollywood
M,W,F – $200
