Health and Safety Measures During COVID

We must all adhere to the following rules to ensure everyone’s safety.

1.  We strongly encourage all athletes and families to get fully vaccinated and boostered.  Please submit a picture of your card to the coaches.

2.  We are not requiring masks right now except in the situations below.

3.  If you are sick, please stay home and get tested for COVID.  If an athlete seems sick to us, we will need to send her home.  Please send a picture of your test result to the coaches.  If you test positive, please see #4.  If you test negative, please stay home until your symptoms have improved and you are fever-free for 24 hours without the use of medication.
4. If you test positive for COVID, please isolate (stay home from school, practice and everywhere else) for 5 full days from the date of your positive test.  Please provide a negative antigen test taken on Day 5 before returning to practice.  Please also wear a mask for 10 days from the date of your positive test.  You also need to be fever-free without the use of medication for 24 hours in order to return to practice.
5.  If you have been exposed to someone who has COVID and you are not boostered, you will need to quarantine for 5 days.   Please take a PCR test as soon as possible and again on Day 5.  Day 0 is your day of exposure.  If you test negative on Day 5 and have no symptoms, you may end quarantine and return to practice.  Please also wear a mask for 10 days from the day of your exposure.  Exposure is defined by the CDC as within six feet of an infected person for a total of 15 minutes or more.
6. If you have been exposed to someone who has COVID and you are boostered, you do not need to quarantine but should wear a mask everywhere for 10 days.  Please take a PCR test on Day 5.  Day 0 is your day of exposure.  If you test positive, follow the isolation protocol in #4.
7.  By attending practice, you are accepting the risk of COVID exposure.  While we are taking measures to create a safe environment, it is not possible to remove all risk.
