Coach Megan
  • Personal:  Mom to four college graduates – three girls and a boy.  All of her kids rowed for Miami Rowing Club where she chaired the Youth Committee.  Founded this club in 2015.  She not only coaches but performs many other tasks from securing hotels to getting us apparel.  She is very much into cross training and uses her knowledge to create fun workouts for the girls.
  • Rowing:  Has been competing as a Master Rower for over 11 years.  Earned four top three finishes including one Gold at World Masters in 2018.  Placed 1st and 2nd at Hooch in 2016.  Earned a Gold and two Silvers at Masters Nationals in 2013 and competes at the state level too.  Was a Varsity Rower at Florida Institute of Technology and Holy Spirit High School.  Has also competed at the Head of the Charles, Dad Vails, SIRA’s, Canadian Henley and many other regattas.
  • In the process of getting Level 2 Certified with US Rowing.  Trained in Safe Sport, CPR, First Aid and Boating Safety.
Coach Kathy
  • Personal:  Married with two daughters – a junior in high school and a college sophomore.  Worked as an accountant before getting involved in volunteer work.  Has always been involved with youth organizations including being a Girl Scout Leader for eight years.  Founded this club in 2015.  Handles the administrative side and coaches too!

Coach Karla
  • Personal:  A native of El Salvador.  Fluent in English and Spanish with a degree in Marketing.  Wants to share her love of rowing with the next generation of girls.  Leads by example with a healthy life style and a positive, can-do attitude!
  • Rowing:  Began rowing in high school.  A member of the El Salvador National Team.  Has competed at many regattas including Worlds in 2016 in Switzerland and the Pan American Games in 2015 in Canada.  Still trains and will be competing as a Master in the United States.
